Daniel Pfeiffer
Daniel Pfeiffer was born in Mainz in 1968. From 1991 to 1993 he studied economics at the Johannes Gutenberg-University Mainz. From 1992 to 1995 he was trained by Pieree Wyss and Enno-Ilka Uhde in stage directing and the dramatic composition of ballet. From 1993 to 1996 he studied theatre and film studies and political science at the Johannes Gutenberg-University. He then went on to study media design at Mainz University of Applied Sciences, until 2004. Since then he has been working as a freelance author and director of documentaries for Film and TV.

Trains, cars, aircraft, ships, people. Everything revolves endlessly around itself. But shift and tilt lenses, pseudo-macros, pseudo miniature worlds, definition levels and time lapse do nothing but making a fairy tale out of us, an illusion of cheerfulness. Our environment as a playground in which we move to and fro like miniature figures and believe not that they are us, but our toys.
